Yes. With a power of attorney (signed at a Spanish consulate or before a notary in your country with an apostille), we and your legal representative can handle the entire sale — from listing to completion at the notary — while you stay at home.

The buyer withholds 3% of the price and pays it to the Spanish tax office as an advance on your capital gains tax (19% on the gain for EU/EEA citizens, 24% for most others, including UK citizens). Municipal plusvalía may also apply. If the 3% withheld exceeds your final tax, you can claim a refund — we and our legal partners handle it. We prepare a full cost estimate before listing.
